Project Description:
The "Twin Towers" Central Jail facility is state-of-the-art in law enforcement and consists of five buildings with over 1.2 million total square feet on a 10-acre site. The "Towers" include 2,000 cells a 200-bed medical services building, inmate reception area that can process over 4,000 inmates per day and serve over 18,000 meals per day.
Dynalectric installed over 1 million feet of 3/4" IMC conduit, half a mile of 6" conduit, 1,000 miles of power cable and 2 million feet of control cable. The project had in excess of 13,000 light fixtures, 30,000 branch devices and 17 miles of pick-resistant sealant. We were required to install over 25,000 feet of conduit weekly to maintain schedule with the deck pours.
