Project Description:
Redline Tunnels B251 B, C, and D are 2.6 miles in length and run under Vermont Avenue between Wilshire and Hollywood Boulevard. The three sets of twin tunnels were in various stages of completion by the original contractor when Dynalectric took over the project. Ten cross-passages were set up to allow passage between tunnels and emergency access above ground. We provided overhead conduit, tunnel lighting and 480V power receptacles. Over five miles of wireway was installed along the tunnel walkway of the B251 tunnels B, C, D, E and F for control wiring.
