Electrical Design-Build-Assist Services Project Description:
After months of lawsuits, injunctions and demonstrations, California Corridor Constructors (Kiewit-Granite Joint Venture) cut a new path through Orange County that connects the South County to the Newport/Irvine Airport area.
Dynalectric L.A.'s involvement on this 18-mile toll road included design-build-assist services on all aspects of electrical construction including the Corridor Operating System C.O.S., counting stations, tollbooths, ramp metering systems, CCTV and surveillance systems, and toll plaza.
New electrical construction services included 500 roadway street lights, 35 traffic intersections/signals and 15 miles of backbone system for the C.O.S. that will control over 100,000 cars per day in the future.
